i posted something earlier named QUESTIONS and while some one tried his or her best to help me, i still haven't got anwsers. heres my question revisted. AFTER I BEAT THE GAME CAN I STILL EXPLORE, U KNOW PLAY TOTSC(i have the version with both BG and TOTSC on the same disk. and this not such a big game is it?

You actually got an answer in your earlier post. It was no. After the big final you must begin BGII to continue your adventure.

After I beat the game, final save made, the movie played and game ended. But, I did reload the final save and strolled back through the ruins, through the maze and back into BG. When I talked to people, it was as if I had not done the final battle. So, in a sense you can keep playing, but the game is really over, even though your buddy is now alive again!
This is what the manual says about installing ToTSC after beating the orignal BG game. "If you have already completed the original game, you will start adventuring with your last save game file (and party) in the town of "Ulgoth's Beard", having traveled there from the city of Baldur's Gate. The new adventure areas can be accessed through Ulgoth's Beard. You may return to Baldur's Gate (or adventure in any of the other areas of the original game) at any time, but be warned: the game remains set at just PRIOR to the final big battle in the original game. What this means is that if you return to Baldur's Gate, you may find that there is someone waiting for you..." |
