Do I Need These?

I am carrying around all this stuff that is just taking up room in my inventory.

My first question is --- is there somewhere to store things?

I have just started Dragon's Eye and I have the following:

Oswald's Spellbook
Iron Ward Stone
Black Ward Stone
Cathin's Temple Key
Oria's Temple Key
Lysara's Temple Key
Several Initiates Robes
Expended Teleportation Spell
Aurilite Holy Symbols
Door Guard's Key
Oria's Note
4 Desicated Hearts

Do I need any of them for later in the game or can I just drop them since you can't seem to sell any of them.

you can't use those things later in the game as far as I know

Since you're at Dragon's Eye, you're passed the point where any of those items are useful. You can safely dump everything on that list and free up some inventory space.

Thanks, I was afraid if I dumped all that stuff, that I would need it later in the game. Now, I can drop all of it.

About those Aurulite Temple keys, I say in the walkthrough in skullport that you have to revisit the temple later, and I am now at fellwood. Can I dump them and be able to get into the temple later?

You can safely dump them. If you revist the doors will all be openable.

Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou for asking my most thought about question! I have always wondered about all that stuff. Luckily though i went ahead and dropped it all anyway.

Right now i am interested in why i have two identical keys from the Western Fields of Slaughter. Anyone?

How about those ruined/destroyed armour, shields, weapons etc? Is there a smith/forger in IWD2 that can forge you armours/weapons like in BG2 or can I just sell/throw them away?

no smith can fix them. just throw them away.

Yep, I agree that you can chuck all those stuff away. But with most of the BG IWD series the programmers seem to like to throw in a few suprises for ppl who keep "junk".......

think..... pantaloons and dead cats....
