Luvian, you mean the story that plays when you start the game, before you load your saved game? Just left click anywhere on the screen as it plays, it will stop and take you to the startup menu board.

It's really not so bad the second time around...Since you know what you need to do you can head a cpl of them off and grab the stuff you need before you get there. I did it in about 1/3rd the time.
