IWD party to IWD2

Is there anyway to bring my party from IWD to IWD2 with there same levels and items?

No. You can`t import your party to IWD II from IWD I. Really,really sucks!

No those are too different as IWD uses 2nd edition while IWD2 uses 3rd. for example stuff like feats and skills wasnt there in IWD, AC is different, Thac0 and BAB are different, weapon proficiencies are different, XP is different, races have different abilities, multi/dual classing is different, spells are different (in fact whole spell system is) even ability scores are different (18DEX in IWD isnt same as 18DEX in IWD2)...

What you can do is use Dalekeeper 2 to create characters as similar as possible in IWD .

Unlike BG series these are not the same heroes... in fact many werent born when IWD events took place... and during the course of the game they ask lots of questions about those things that took place in IWD to other people....

Since IWD2 is designed to be played from the start with a low level party I can't see much point in importing an IWD1 party. Instead I re-created my old team of small people using the same classes and races, only this time my midgets can be Bards, Druids and all manner of things - equallity for us at last!
