Chapter 5: Many problems

How can i manufacture wyvern venom? On the westernmost bench are only antidotebottles. I also can't push both levers. I already brought the sword to the ghost mandal, and he showed me where the mandrake should be, but there is nothing. I also got the Engineering Manual but i can't repair the bridge.

Please help.

You can't do anything until you've found the modified mandrake root and talked
to Nheero about it.

The root is with the ancient wyvern. You go down the hole in the wyvern lair on
level one (west side). Kill the wyvern, and use ALT to highlight the bag with
the root. Then see Nheero and ask him about it.

Until you do that, the alchemist does not appear, and he's the only one who can
fix the switch that operates the lab.

I killed the wyvern already, but there is nothing (except the hiding place at the stone stairs). I also pressed ALT button, but there is nothing highlighted. I reloaded already an older savegame three times. Now i'm stuck.

Okay, one thing you have to be careful about with this game is getting ahead of
yourself and doing things without talking to people first.

So, you talk to Nheero and get quested to find Mandal. When you find his body,
you see Nheero again and he tells you about the sword. When you have the sword,
you return to Mandal's body with it. Mandal appears and tells you where he put
the root. It does NOT appear until Mandal shows you the place. Then you can go
kill the wyvern and get the root.

Now i can't find any wyvern stingers. Where are they?

As I mentioned in another message, the wyverns are on the south side of level
one, In fact, they're not far from where you go down the hole to get the root.

Great thanx. I finally made it. They lied on the floor with dagger-symbols, so didn't recognize them. Thanx again for your help.

help!i have the same problem!but even if i do what you tell nheero DOES NOT quest me for mandal!!!!!and i don 't find his body!he tells me about tendons stretched to their limits .in fact i can' t open the prison gate to free nheero!
what can i do please!?

Across the small bridge to the north is a torture room. The rack can be
operated to open the prison door. After you enter and take out the guards,
you'll be able to talk to Nheero and learn about Mandal. He won't give you the
quest until then.
