I am at the second level of the main crypt and I can't use the lever in the platform or open any of the other doors in this room.
I have 2 keys the gate key and the sanctum key found in the lesser crypts. Any ideas on what to do?

There should be about 3 keys. I had the same problem. Your party leader will be able to pull the lever once you have all the keys. And, are they worthless after the Vale?

The keys you find are almost worthless after you leave the Vale. Although you may sell them in Kuldahar, you get only about 1 or 2 gp for each key; just drop them in the Vale and leave the inventory slots open for more valuable items.

First, find a item that looks like a stone with a paw prints on it and then you can open it.
