I am at the 2nd Basement of Durlag's Tower - the one with the room with sparring dummies. Halfway through the level, I decided to 'surface' to rest and sell off the items I had been lugging around with me.
When I returned, I couldn not open any of the doors that would allow me to proceed further. Clicking on the statues doesn't work (I do get the text that says of doors opening and closing). I'm essentially stuck at the entrance. The only rooms I can get to are the entrance foyer, the one SW of that (with the carpet & statues) and the Throne Room.
Can any one help?

lol--funny to see what Durlag's does to your mind. "What? A door I can pick??? Ye gods!"

I actually didn't know there were any pickable doors in Durlag's, thanks. But you're not the only person to be caught by the "I-rested-upstairs-and-now-I-can't-get-back-to-where-I-was" phenomenon. Going back upstairs to stash your loot is OK, but don't rest there, or you could get locked out.

If you can get into the throne room, go to the wall near the switches in the next room over. You can work the switches through the wall. When I would come back to this level, I would go and hit every switch, if it told me a door closed, I would hit it again.
