I must be missing something in ToL. I read the post below about the placement of gems...but I have the following: Skydrop, Fire Agate, Emerald, Pearl, and Moonbar. I figured it would be (in this order) heaven, day, earth, sea, and night, but I don't see any changes when I place the gems in the altars by the stone women. Before, when I placed the scrolls in the tomb, there was immediate feedback. What's up?
Gotta tell ya', I've been through IWD, HOW, BG, TotSC...and this is the first time I've been totally stumped by these great games. Thanks in advance for the help. |

I don't know if this will help - it's been a while since I played this section and my memory's not too good.
You start off with flawed gems - each one needs to be placed in the container on the correct altars in the tunnels leading from the main area. Each should then turn into a different stone that needs to be placed in the right place in the circular 'thingy' in the main area. Best of luck. |

Bald Rick is right, you need to change the flawed gems into flawless gems. To do this, they must be put them into the Chest of Seasons. This chest is located in the cave where you fought the minotaurs and found the Flawed Skydrop Gem. Once placed in this chest, they gems will disappear and you will have to go to each of the alters in the caves to retrieve the flawless gems. ------------------ All the world is a stage and we are all actors playing our parts. |
