I guess that when I saw that big skeleton in the ice cave, that was rather exciting...and like you said, the frozen Sea beasts were a nice attraction...I guess that in the battle field, the hardest challenges are always what makes you say, "I am getting my money's worth for this game"...for who wants to spend money for something that they don't get to enjoy, and conquer...with great effort...yeah, we may complain about a certain monster being impossible to kill, yet, that is what we want !

Hey..just wondering for you guys who have completed IWD already..which was the best part of the game for you? Dont get me wrong, the entire game is a blast to play but surely some parts are more fun than others. I think I liked the Wyrm's Tooth area (lotsa magic items, exp and the ice gallery with all the dea creatures is INCREDIBLE) the most..and probably the Dragon's Eye and Shattered Hand areas the least(Cramped spaces mostly..frustrating combat, computer slowdowns..that kinda thing)..Lower Dorn's Deep is kinda cool for the architecture too (its that area on the inner sleeve of the box..the luminous mushrooms and everything had me going *wow*)

Wow, this was an old thread. Anyway.
I liked chapter 6 with Lower Dorn best. Collecting those badges, with one rocking fight after another, was mighty fun. Cool characters as well, Malavon and the rest. Dragon's Eye was the most boring. Kinda like "Dungeon Master" for the ole Amiga, if you recall. Down, down, down. After that it got better, with smaller and more imaginative crypts. |

Im only in Dragons Eye, but the music and graphics in Kuldahar was so far the most exciting. But maybe I change my mind when i will go further into the game.

I have to say collecting the badges were also my favorite.lots of action and plenty of "different" enemies.
