ok...i love bg and i am very sad. you see, i cant pllay it anymore because the data is corpted and i dont know how to fix it...please tell me what to do!
PS: i used cheats once, and had to change a folder a little bit, but now i cant even get into the folder...

Move any saved game folders into another folder so you don't loose any information. Then reinstall the game, but this is only what I would do if there were no other options left. Someone else will probably give a better explination...........I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!! AAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I thought I had an easy fix for that problem, but upon reflection it won;t work. Mellagar has the right idea. THe problem with having altered your .ini file is that it contains information about hardware settings that it detects when the game is installed and also path information about where the game data is kept. That data needs to be recreated for the game to function properly. Reinstallation is probably the only way around this problem. BACK UP YOUR SAVES first!!
See if the game will uninstall and reinstall properly, if not post again. There is a fix for that problem as well.

ok guys, thanks for the suggestion, but after doing everything you told me, uninstalling the game. IT STILL WON'T LET ME PLAY....sob....please help me...

What exactly happens? Is there an error message? The computer crashes when it runs, etc.?
