installing ToB?

i'm new to this forum, so...hi to y'all

i was wondering at what moment should i install ToB (if it matters anyway) - right now i'm in chapter 5 - ust natha, and i would like to venture into watcher's keep in chapter 6, so can i install it right now, or should i wait for c 6?

But seriously, install as soon as possible to gain all those juicy benefits. Theres no need to wait. Also, you should get the ToB Patch as well as Baldurdash.

thanks...i was wondering, what does that patch, and particullary Baldurdash do? I prefer to play without any mods, but if Bdash is essential for some bug fixes...is it?

Yes, Baldurdash fixes almost all of the known bugs in Baldur's Gate II. It is very very highly recommended that you get it.

thanks Xen...yep, i installed ToB and official patch+text patch (i haven't installed baldurdash, since i haven't experienced any bugs in my BG2 yet)

Be aware that the Baldurdash pack is not retroactive - ie. if you run into a bug, installing the pack then will not fix it for your current savegame. It might cause you less pain in the long-run to install it now for prevention...

i checked now - actually i installed baldurdash+text patch, but not latest official patch, but i didn't encounter any bugs yet (except that golems on level 1 of watcher's keep, in sarcophagus room didn't turn hostile, they just stood there...)
