although i have had minsc in my party since nashkel in BG1, and he has amused me the whole time, he is starting to bore me, he doesnt interact with the plot or have his own mission, so who do you think i should replace him with,
i have a kensai lvl 10 that will be dual classing soon to a mage
a sorceror
a monk
valyger
anomen
and minsc

Well, you do look like you are 'thief-light' so you could consider Imoen, Yoshimo or Jan. Jan is worth it for the dialogue if you've never taken him before. That's from a 'gameplay' point of view and fairly uncontroversial I think.

If you value interactions and banter over 'ease of play' (ie. you don't mind walking through a few traps and using lots of 'knock') you could skip the thief and plump for someone like Keto who has a ton of well-voiced dialogue and makes a nice change from the more silent Bioware NPCs. It looks like your party could do with a more lighthearted member.

I note that you haven't named your sorceror - is he just a generic character created using the multiplayer option? If that's the case, then you could also replace him with Kelsey (a capable sorcerer) who comes with the added benefit of yet more dialogue (and some especially good interactions with Keto incidentally).

Keto: http://www.pocketplane.net/keto

yeah my sorceror is my own charicter. he is tim the enchanter, from the monty python movie. he has his own soundset and portraits, my monk is also one i made. he is monkey, from monkey magic the tv show, he has sounds and portraits too.

i need a front row person, because my kensai is going to dual class to a mage when he level ups next, and with minsc gone, the only front row i will have is anomen and monkey

If you are looking for a Bioware front-liner to replace Minsc, I would recommend either Valygar (another ranger, and he dual-wields katana, as well as using the longbow) or Keldorn (who can use Carsomyr). If you want a straight fighter, either Mazzy or Korgan depending on whether you are playing good or evil. I am also partial to Yasraena. (See my sig file for the link.) She is straight fighter who dual-wields short-swords, but you can only pick her up in CI.
