I'm playing BGtutu and ran into a curious buglet. We were clearing out the High Hedge area and fought some ghouls. Branwen got touched and "held". No big deal, except that the "holding" wouldn't wear off(I don't have *dispel magic* yet). I rested and the "holding" still didn't wear off. Anyone seen this one before? Just curious, no permanent harm done, I went back to an earlier save(I save frequently and,more important, numerously).

I once had to wait a full week for a Hold to wear of Minsc. I think he got it on a trap in a house in the city, but not sure where.

I think you have to wait actual time for the holding to wear off, not game time.
