. . . . . . . . . Do the statue for the temple quest. Go for the real metal (not the substitute). talk to... one of the helmite priests, the ore merchant in WP, ungar in the CC, and finaly a pervy little dwarf called neb in the derilict house in the bridge district. he will attack you and if you loot his body you can take his head to the Co6 building for extra exp.

IIRC you can get both the real metal and the fake.
Spoiler - - - - - - Use the fake for the temple. The priest will like the results just as much as (if not more than) the real stuff. Use the real stuff to complete a certain weapon and boost it's enchantments.
