How many times (approx) do you think you have restarted BG2:SOA???

How mnay times you have pressed that 'New Game' button only to come back and press it again days or even hours later?

I am liket this:approximately 50-60% make it out of Irenicus` Dungeon, 45-50% get to the Slums, 20-30% leave Athkatla, 10-20% finishes SoA, 5-10% reach Chapter 9, and 1-3% finish ToB...

Yep i like to try new classes and kits now and then.

I rarely hit the restart button without finishing a game I managed to take out of Irenicus' Dungeon. If I get bored with a kit/character in Irenicus' dungeon it's restart or sometimes even a temporary SoA absence.
Yet I mostly plan my characters and parties ahead figure out some nice biography and additional sotryline and take them all the way through SoA and ToB. I do play concurrent games however so technically I might hit the "Restart button" now and then.

Well if I am bored i put the party "on hold",start another, and play with the party wich is "on hold" now and then. But i never stop playing a certain party like... forever.

So i usually finish the game with all parties they are just "on hold".

I do about the same thing. Sometimes, even if I have several games open I cannot resist the temptation to do some kind of outlandish theme party.

I generally plan one character for a while before I take him/her through the game. I've never actually lost interest partway through the game and restarted to try 'something new'.

Though I have restarted due to bugs etc etc (v annoying GRR!!!).

/me bares teeth

Hmm...
I would say that:

Stopped in Irenicus dungeon: 75%
Stopped in the slums/near the exit: 5%
Made through the game: 20%

As it is, i often try many different characters before i come up with one i really am intrested to play the game through with...

For me it's something like this:

99% makes it out of The Dungeon. (Mostly thanks to the DBG. )
75% gets to the Brynnlaw.
20% manages to survive the Underdark.
5% are still standing at the Suldanessar (Sorry about spelling if wrong )
And 1% finishes the game.

Seriously, only three (3) of my parties/solos I have played through the whole SoA. And two of them started ToB, but only once I have finished it. Seriously! Only one time through ToB..

Same..before DBG, I would usually restart about 80% of the games I made with new characters or make my own Multi-Char party, or something like that. If I get past Chapter 2 I'll usually play the parties through SoA, no ToB yet..damn the chain stores! -_-

Well about 50% of my new parties get out of Chateau Irenicus. If they manage that then I ususally finish the game with them occasionally putting them on hold to paly with another party.
