Minsc Problems

Okay I have been playing for a really long time and now I am in Chapter 6 ready to go into Chapter 7 at any time, but I just noticed a problem that I know wasn't there before... Minsc is somehow immune to magic! Has anyone else had this problem? It isn't anything he is wearing, I'm pretty sure. Any help would be very welcome.

No offense intended, but how do you know he's immune to magic? What's his gear like? Is he under the effect of any potions? Tried resting? Have you tried pinging him with a magic missile, even?

Just trying to cover all the bases.

That rat-bastard Minsc probably used some permanent one-time-use-only i'll-give-you-100&-MR potion, which was obviously meant for you!! Scewer the nimrod.

Okay, here is how I tested it... I took off all of his gear and weapons et cetera and had all of my magically-abled characters attack him with all of their spells and as far as I can tell he wasn't effected in any way. I took my other fighter and did the same to him, and he was hurt by the spells... So I figure that either Minsc is really tough, there is a bug in the game, or there was some special deal with him that I am unaware of; any ideas? Thanks!

Um, what is this certain item? Use a spoiler warning or something. I did remove all Minsc's stuff, but maybe it didn't wear off if he was wearing it?
