Alignment Affects

I decided to have a bit of fun with SK and decided to make Minsc lawful evil (and he's still a ranger, no loss of abilities or anything!). Each time my reputation increased, he seemed to get pissed off, lol. Doesn't sound much like Minch, right?

. Is there anybody else that has tried this before, or knows of other characters this works with?

Edit: Um, I just killed an innocent, and managed to get my reputation down to 9, which made Minsc happy. So, just to see what happens, I got my reputation down to 3, and he says that 'this is not right....'. At a reputation of 3, he would have lost his ranger status, but why would he get mad at a lower reputation if he's evil?

Probably because the programmers didn't program an evil Minsc into the game, and so he's the same Minsc, just with a different alignment. That's what happens if you mess with editing programs, you can't expect a logical response from the computer.

it works with every npc. it can be used by those who want to have, for example Minsc in an evil party, and want to have low rep(for some reason). or the other way around, someone like korgan in a good party and want to have a Heroic rep without losing him...

Yeah. I just found it kinda funny how he's still good, but he's evil. He gets mad if rep goes up, but gets mad if rep goes down. [img]graemlins/laugh2.gif[/img]

Looks like True Neutral to me: Minsc, keeper of universal balance ! Can you believe it?

Rangers are only supposed to be good, so how come he hasn't become 'fallen' or what ever it's called?

Because he used SK to change his alignment.
