Vicci Romance (spoilers)

I was using my F/T/M duo (I gave in and picked up Vicci because I'd never tried her romance before) anyway I made it to the point where you confront Bodhi and change to the slayer the first time, it said something to the effect of "your party has noticed as well" but Vicci was in another room while my char scouted ahead and anihilated everything dangerous (can't have my sweetums getting hurt, now can I) anyway the romance seems to have stalled as she hasn't said anything to me about it, and after having gone through the highlight for spoilersSahuagin city as well as the beholder den in the underdark I was wondering if this was the cause, and is there a solution that doesn't involve SK or reloading from spelhold (not sure if i still have that save)

using shadowkeeper I looked up the lovetalk and it's at lovetalk 35, and there's another variable under it, (ToldViconiaImoen = 1) do I need to advance the lovetalk, or eliminate the "told..." in order to get my romance going forward? I'm still in the underdark without having talked to

Adalon and so of course I haven't been to the drow city yet, I've taken out the beholders, kuo-toa, and Illithids, and started the quest with the gnomes.

Hm. There are a few steps you need to go through.

step one: look for the ViconiaRomanceActive variable. It should be at 1. It will not likely be at 0 or 2, but if it is something weird has happened. If it's at 3 then you've said something or something has happened to kill the romance. Change it back to 1.

step two: If it is at 1, then hope is at hand. There are plenty of areas that are considered 'dungeons' by the game (and they don't always make sense) and these are designed to delay your lovetalk dialogs to prevent inappropriate stuff in a dungeon. Included in these areas are indeed the Spellhold Dungeons, the Sahuagin City, The Underdark, the Beholder Lair, the Illithid Area and the Kua-Toa Area. What you really need to do is meet Adalon, get into the Drow City and do some wandering around in there. Then the lovetalk timer should start up again.

For reference, ToldViconiaImoen is just a flag to note that when you took Viconia on, you told her you were looking for Imoen, not hunting for Irenicus. You did do that, right? [img]smile.gif[/img]

If this doesn't work (permanent save when you get into Adalon's Cave, I advise) there is a way to jump-start the Lovetalk Timer, but hopefully you shouldn't need that.

correct, I did indeed say I was looking for Imoen, ok I was worried, since when I did the Anomen romance (only other one I finished) there was a fair amount of dialogue at the point where I changed.

If you want to be sure just

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal(“ViconiaRomance”,”GLOBAL”,1)

This should trigger the next dialogue if all requirements are met (resting, no inappropriate area, ...) and if your romance is still working.
I have just looked it up: There's no resting required at LT=35 so mayber it's the dungeons.
