please help!!!!

I recently had to uninstall and reinstall BG becauyse I messed something up on my computer, but now I can't put my old saved games back on. How is this done? I'd appreciate anyones help.

If I recall correctly the saved games are in folders titled save0001 or something like that. Create a folder in your Baldur's Gate directory called 'saves.' Then place the saved game, which is in the save0001 folder, inside the 'saves' folder. (I think that came out right) Hmmmm.....now I've confused myself. I need a sit down now.

I'm not sure what the exact nature of the problem is from the details (I'm assuming you manually deleted the folders the uninstall app didn't remove?)of your post, but this is how you'd do something like this in general:

1- backup the MP and single save game folders
2- uninstall game
3- re-install game (BG and TOSC)
4- re-install any patches you had installed prior
5- paste the saved files back into the appropriate folders (provided they were deleted at all)
6- launch game and play

That's exactly what I've done in the past when I've had to re-install and I've had no problems. If you could add more detail to your problem, maybe we can give more specific help.

Thank you guys so much for your help, I eventually pasted the save folder in the right place. Now if I can only remember how to launch the game.....
