ok this aint a spoiler but who is better minsc or mazzy? wot level is mazzy when u get her?

this is the spoiler. that black shadow dragon is tough to kill ne tips as she has killed me many times?

There is a wardstone that prevents Thaxll'ssillya from seeing you, and thus attacking you. If you get the bones in the first room when you come in, in a grave, and give them to the shades next to the lava pit, Amuana appears and gives you the wardstone.

But if you just want to fight Thaxll'ssillya either way, I can't help. I am not a big dragon fighter myself! [img]smile.gif[/img] Sorry.

ok i hav the ward stone now wot do i do with it? i've tried fighting her with just my main char who has the ward stone but the dragon just kills me like normal. wot do i do with the stone?

Just have it in your inventory andmazzy is better in my opionion

If you want to kill the shadow dragon, use the same technic as for killing Firkragg. Cast magic resistance n him and fight or use harm, also spells like Abzis-horrid wilting help as well as weapons +4 or better. If i were u would ry to kill the dragon he makes good theif armor in fact it is the best thief armor u can get!!

I HAV THE WARDSTONE IN MY INVENTORY AND THE DRAGON JUST FIGHTS BACK!!!
i thought he is supposed to ignore u if u fight like that???

i know u can skip him btw but i want more exp

The wardstone's power wears off once you make your presence known, by attacking or talking.

If he simply ignored you, it would make the battle a little too easy, don't you think?

You need to be a really high level. Leave him alone, like I always do, and if I can be bothered in Chapter 6/7, I go in and kill it for fun.

What NPCs do you have in your party? I think that Thax isnt too hard to kill,Melfs Minute Meteors work quite often.Maybe you should put on all of your protective magic on and charge.Good way is to surround Thax,and move your characters from place to place (you should cast haste on yourself),dont keep your party as one group,but in pairs or alone is better.The dragon wont get all of your party members killed at one blow if you fight like this.And it doesnt really matter if someone dies (unless the picture of that character vanishes,or hp goes to -10),you can always bring them back to life.BTW Magic missiles work too,sometimes.Good luck! For the first time I tried it took hours,but now I know better. [img]smile.gif[/img]
