Just a quick question - I've seen people ranting about this carsomry thing as a good weapon. What and where is it? Ta. |

Hi, Susanathene. Welcome to IW. Carsomyr is (possibly) the best two-handed weapon in all Faerun. It is +5 to hit,+5 damage(+10 against chaotic evil) and casts Dispel Magic with every hit. Also, 50% Magic Resistance. So, you see, it is quite a sword. Sadly, for non-Paladins, it can only be wielded by Paladins, or with Use Any Weapon.

Plus, it can be up-graded to +6 (for paladins) later in the game.
Hmmm....would Use Any Item work? Since other classes can already wield it, I would think it would be a waste of time. Or does the Use Any Item ability give the thief the FULL benefits of the item?
