When I Export My Char From Baldurs 1 Into Baldurs 2. Will His Experience Stay The Same To The Exact Number, Or Will It Go Back To The Experience Which You Would Have When You Last Leveled Up??

No, it goes to the maximum. (Which is about 89000 I think)

If you export a character who hasn't reached 89.000 yet, it will be maxed out to 89.000, as Velkyn said. If you export a character from TotSC with any number of XP in between 89.000 and 161.000 it will stay as it is.

If you export from Baldur's Gate your experience is set at
the cap level of 89,000. If you come from Sword Coast it's set to 161,000, the revised cap. I hope I don't go too far past the cap level in finishing ToSC; it'd hurt to lose a level (or more) when I switch to BG2. Rikter (Level 5 in Chapter 3 of BG...Armored Figure better be eating his wheaties...) |

Well, I just finished the game again today, with my Half-ling Theif. I asked because I needed to get him to 160,000 for him to reach level 10. I finished the game on 152,000, or there abouts. I was just wondering, whether when I load BG2 with my new imported character, his EXP would remain at 152,000, or drop down to the last level which was 110,000 I think.
So it will remain then?

It will remain in BG2. Only the xp of the NPCs are fixed and won't be imported
 One thing which puzzles me, is, when you reach the cap in BG1 ToSC and collect furher xp, will they internally be added and you are able to get more then 161.000 xp at the start or will the excess just be lost. The 2 postings here say yes and no... |

It is my understanding that XP earned above the cap will carry over.
