I didnt understand "Quest Spells"? I summon Deva and she appeears. So where's her quest or the quest I shall do? I didnt understand?? What's Quest spell for clerics?

quest is misleading. i don't know why they titled them that. they are just spells, that happen to be high level, and only pickable after a level-up. no quests, sorry to disappoint you.

Thanks for enlighting me. You're right maybe they didnt want to call high cleric levels as "level 8" and they name it as "quest spells" what's your favourite quest spells?

THey probably named them quest spells cos clerics normally 'just know' all their spells from the start unlike wizards who have scribe scrolls. However with quest spells u have to go and gain experience and pick the spells as a reward- so that's it I guess.

the whole idea behind "quest spells" is tied into pen&paper AD&D. quest spells in that context are extremely powerful spells that a deity grants a chosen priest of the faith for a specific purpose. (i.e.--"go forth and destroy a legion of undead commanded by a lich"...) normally, this is not a spell that the cleric can keep and memorize...it is a fleeting gift from the priest's god. this, obviously, is not the case in Throne of Bhaal.
