where is Gorion's scroll... spoiler

Rememeber when gorion was killed in Chapter 1?

In the first map outside of Candlekeep (due east) there is an area to the north (and a bit the western side from center) where stones are arranged in a circle. That is where the remains and loot of Gorion and Sarevok's lackeys are found. The scroll you mention was on Gorion.

Is the scroll used for anything? I haven't gone too far in the game so was wondering if I could toss it if it wasn't for any thing.

Once you read it you can use it for toilet paper if you wish.

Actually, you can sell the scroll for 1gp.
