How do I read the save VS stuff?

Is the Save VS whatever better if its higher or lower?

The lower the better my friend, the lower the better.

When you need to make a save, the game randomizes a number between 1 and 20. If this number is over your saving throw number, then you pass the save.

As you might imagine, having a saving throw that is a minus number makes it quite difficult to fail saves.

Also, certain higher level spells demand you save at -2, -4 or even -5, making it more difficult to make your saves (example, to avoid confusion, you must save at -2. If your save Vs Spells is 8, you would need to roll 10 or above to avoid being confused)
