Does Aerie work as your only cleric????

I am thinking about foregoing Viconia and Amonen as clerics and just using Aerie's clerics skills, is this doable, overly tough???? Appreciate your thoughts.

its doable, but during and after some of the tougher battles you may need lots more healing than Aerie can provide. but no worries, cuz there are more than enough potions for you to go through the game!

Hmm, the only problem I'd see with it trying to buff up your characters before a battle. I like to have 2 chars casting chant, bless, et all so things go more quickly (the durations on some of these spells are not that long). If you had a ranger or a druid in the party I think you'd be ok.

I thought ToB was overkill with potions of healing, so Aerie could work as your only cleric. The only snag you may run into is battle preparations when she has to handle ALL the cleric casting while also casting her mage defensive spells.

i'm using her as my only cleric and its working fine for me. although she'll never be very good at it (because she'll hit the top XP level way before she gets to level 40)

I've played through ToB twice with Jaheira as my only healer and had no problems at all. with all the healing potions and all the items with regenerative abilities, healing your party is no problem at all. as for all the 'buff-up' spells, well, all the bless, aid, chant... thingies really get out-classed by the high level special abilities your fighters gain.
guess I just don't find clerics all that useful...

with all the healing items, a half cleric is all you need. aerie or jaheria.

Anomen is my only healer. But the healing potion thing is overdone as said above. I have that potion bag and it is full not to mention that Sarevoks inventory is full as well with potions of healing.

i use her and jahiera. that usually covers it for me.

Just use Aerie. In BGII I like 2 people to cast the bless and chant spells at the same time. But it isn't necessary as Amomen is doing all the work by himself. Way way to many potions of healing in the game.
