Sometimes I find a locked chest that is trapped, and though I quaff a potion of Master Thievery, (and all stats are over 100% in thievery skills anyway), I have found two that I cannot remove the trap on, nor open in any way.
Any comments

I assume you tried knock...

I found a trap I couldn't disarm either, apparently they knocked up some difficulties... so its either one of three things.

1. A Bug
2. A chest not locked by traditional means that may be warded against simple spells yadda yadda...
3. A chest the game makers put in that couldn't be opened just to drive us NUTS!

We can start a betting pool on whats in them though. I'll put $5 on 1,500 Gore ballots.

Sometimes you cant detect a trap for a long time even if you have over 100 in find traps skill so its possible your lockpick skill is not high enough even if it is over 100.

Where are you at? The reason I ask is that there was one chest like that that I ran into (won't tell you where) that was like that, and it turned into a mimic. Funny thing was I'd been hanging around it forever before it ever decided to attack me.
