SO I'm considering reinstalling the first BG to give it a run, but I can't stand the low resolution.
I'm not sure which of these two conversion I should go for. BGT make it easier to keep playing after finishing BG, but Bg Tutu seem easier to use. Which one do you guys recommend?

I used BGTutu, largely because of all the mods and fixpacks that were out for it.
Worked exactly as it said on the tin, but be cautious mousing over map labels - they used to crash my game to the desktop every time. Highly recommended. |

I used BGTutu when I did a runthrough, simply due to hard drive space. I found it was pretty simple, and never had any problems with it.
