Druid Stronghold question (spoilers)

I got to level 14 druid, went to the grove as asked, won the challenge, and got the staff +3 and ring +2. Then I went on to do other things. I've returned to the Druid Grove, but have gotten no stronghold quests. Apparently (according to UHS Hints) the Spirit of the Grove was supposed to talk to me "a few hours" after I won the challenge. I never saw it though. Is there any way that I can force that encounter now that I've returned to the Druid Grove? I tried just waiting around outside (in the stonehenge-like ring) for a couple of hours but no Spirit showed.

Becoming head of the grove has always been the terminus of the strong hold as far as I can remember.

There are three quests associated with the druid grove but you don’t have to become the archdruid for the early ones.

Save the town of Trademeet by defeating the Shadow Druids reward: Staff of Thunder and Lighting

Once done immediately take a nap in the grove by the throne and the spirit of the grove will ask you to kill the new leader of the Trolls, Nilthiri. Reward The Root of the Problem

9 or 10 days later return to the grove for another nap and the spirit of the grovewill ask you to rescues a child from a demon. The child can be found by the tents just outside Trademeet. Reward: Golden Lion figurine


At level 14 or later you can challenge the Druid to a duel to assume control of the Grove. Reward: Cleric's Staff +3 and a Ring of Protection +2


And that is it.


have you tried sleeping in the grove?

Tried sleeping both in the stonehenge circle and next to the challenge master by the throne. No luck in either case. I'll try a couple more. Who grants the rewards? The spirit?
