Faster Fighter Stronghold

My Beserker PC got the Fighter Stronghold from Nalia and has gotten up to the Priest of Tempus mini-quest. I'm just about to leave for Brynnlaw and I'm wondering if anyone knows the CLUA variables to speed up the stronghold quests. I'd like to finish the stronghold before leaving for Spellhold so if anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

What I did was sleep, sleep and sleep until the next quest arrived, but only for the last two quests. It was very boring and I won't do it again. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I did the same thing when I was waiting for that, I slept, slept and slept. Works perfectly but as Jelboo said, its very boring.

You're better off leaving for spellhold now. At least then you'll know you can do a quest right away when you get back. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Seriously though, there really should be a mod to speed this up. To complete this stronghold, even if it's the first quest I do after Chateau Irenicus, it takes too frigg'n long to finish, and I need to take extra time or I'll miss the end of it! I think the timer is based on game days, so you really have no choice.

Ummm....why can't you just leave for Spellhold, and resume the stronghold quests when you get back?

He can, but if he's done most of the other quests, then he won't be able to finish in the normal game.

I can't find it right now (not at my computer), but there should be a timed global variable (probably something involving "keep", "stronghold", etc, and has a high number). If you change this to 1 (and maybe change areas), you'll get the next stronghold quest.

Incidentally, I agree with you entirely. The game assumes 7 days between each stronghold quest, but the way I play, 3-4 days would be far more appropriate. I don't have the scripting ability, but it wouldn't be too hard for someone good at scripting to work out.

Yeah I did that except I had already done all the other major quests in the game except killing Bodhi. I had to resort to resting for 20 days to get all the other quests but finally got to kill the arrogant Lord Roenell and finish the stronghold [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Edit: Upon further review it seems that you need to edit the variable KPPLOTTIME down to 1 with shadowkeeper so make the quests go by faster. Too bad I wasted 20 game days on this [img]tongue.gif[/img]
