In my last game, I did something really weird. I would routinely kick out all of my party members except for Jaheira right before any large XP awards. This includes any stronghold quests and before my F/Illusionist would scribe large amounts of scrolls.
I did this for both powergamer reasons and to see how quickly I could get her over that 3,000,000 XP mark in her druid class (since that's when she gains massive bonuses). Turns out I got her that far while still in Saradush, even though I played with a 6 person party the whole game. I couldn't believe it! Anyway, has abybody else ever done this, with either Jaheira, or any other NPC, to try to get them to a higher XP mark than the other NPCs?

Waaay too much micromanagement, my friend. I have to admit, I have done this, but only with certain, really high awards (like the deck of many things and returning Yoshimos heart).
Her bonuses when reaching that next druid level arent that great anyways

Actually, if anything I'd probably do the opposite - having XP inequalities really annoys me within a party. I just hate having to carry the dead weight if there is one party member a couple of levels higher than the others.

The point, shamrock, is that Jaheira takes such a long time to go from one level to the next as a Druid, that I was trying to equal things out.

But your question my dear krunchyfrogg...

I think I see what you meant though and I mis-understood. Myself, I aim for equal XP values, but you're aiming for equal gaming impact? Because Jaheira needs a relatively higher amount of XP points to equal a single-class NPC? |

So why don't you just use Shadowkeeper? It's a lot simpler than always kicking people out of the party. You could say it's cheating, but kicking out everyone else in the party because you know an XP bonus is on its way is just exploiting the limitations of the game engine anyway.
In "reality" each character would accrue the experience gradually. Plus, even the most unintelligent NPC would walk away for good if a party leader kicked them out just so that they couldn't share in the spoils of victory. I don't see anything wrong with using Shadowkeeper to make Jaheira what you want her to be. Plenty of people cheat in stats, money, items, etc., so why not levels. Who is to say Jaheira didn't adventure around with Khalid and gain a few more levels in between BG1 and BG2?

Actually, if you're going to cheat, a more logical way would be to edit the .2DA files so that Druids gain levels at a more normal, linear rate, instead of that weird "half dead through SoA but then really fast in early ToB to catch up" thing they do.
