Changing Imonen's Portrait

I had changed Imonen's Portrait in BG1. But haven't had any luck in BGII. I would like to use custom portraits for all of My NPC's. Is there a list of the NPCs names similiar to that in BGI? Please help.

the best thing to do is download a bunch of portraits for the game.
then get shadowkeeper and use it to change immy's portrait. you can also change everyone's portrait this way. and it's easy.

You can also change the pics for the NPCs by naming the new pics with the exact same names as the original NPC pics and placing them in the override folder.

In the case of Imoen, the names are

NIMOENM.bmp and NIMOENS.bmp

(A misconception in BG2 is that the "large" pics have to end in an L. In actuality, if you look inside BG2 using Near Infinity, the portraits ending in 'L' are actually 210x330, the same size as the large IWD2 portaits. The BG2 "large" portraits that are actually USED by the game end in 'M'. Strange.)

L = Large = Portrait size used in Character Creation and in the ToB Epilogues

M = Medium = Used in character's Record screen

S = Small = Used on right-hand portrait bar

Grim Squeaker of Gibberlings Three has made a mod called 'Blonde Imoen', which does something along the lines of the title.

Thanks Magness. I was able to change Imoen's portrait to one I downloaded from the AzureKnight sollection. She is now wearing a thief's mask and looking a lot healthier. Can you tell me where to find the names of the other characters? I just don't like the portraits which came with the game.

Replace the "X" with a L, M, or S that matches the appropriate size.
