HELP! Installation problem

Long ago I uninstalled the game. And I tried to reinstall it but it prompted me to uninstall it...again. And I did so and went to the folder and found the remaining files. I dumped them in the recycle bin and still I cannot install the cruddy game. Someone can help me?

You could try trawling the registry (start -> run then type regedit) - there's probably some rubbish left over.

I haven't got it installed at the moment, so can't check this, but it's likely to reside in

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> BIOWARE and probably the same for HKEY_CURRENT_USER.

If you don't know what the registry is, then wait for more precise instructions as deleting the wrong thing may upset your Windows installation.

I had this happen to me once. Try getting a real registry cleaner, and it should find the defunct entries for you.

If that doesn't work, then you may have to go through it by hand. Make sure you back up the registry before you do that.
