Is this a Bug? (End Game Spoiler)

Okay, I opened the final door. My party takes out Irenicas' summoned demons, et. al. Then we go to work on good ol' Jon. It says he dies, but then at the bottom of the screen he is a live again so we wail away again and bring down all his spell defenses. My fighter and Minsc hit him again and again and again to near death, but that is it. He just stands there taking huge amounts of damage. So I walk away and come back. He is still standing but this time it says he is uninjured! So we hit him again. I'm this close to finishing and nothing to show for it. The only patches I have are the official one plus Balderdash. I also only have SoA and ToB installed; no Ascension or anything else. Please help!

Yes it is the end of SoA. I think it's a bug. Try to reload and see what happens.

Oops! Sorry everyone, I typed this about 1:30 a.m. I was playing Watchers Keep and decided to finish up SoA before continuing. My bad.
