I am stuck in the cloakwood mines and I can not get to the 4th level

Hopefully, someone will come along quickly to help with your problem. As I remember, it was quite a natural progression.
Maybe it would help if you could specify what you've done to this point?

Have you found doors at 3th level and just cant pass?
I never had any problems,(exept that guy down below, but I struck him happily (i know it is dangerous in dungeons) with lightning bolt while he was teleporting and he took that bold with himself - he took all damage

The only major obstacle is on level 2: the encounter with Hareishan, 6 Guards, and 6 Black Talon Elite. If all else fails you can avoid that battle by taking the back corridor and fighting just the two gaurds who are guarding Yeslick and Rill.
