Where is viconia!? I am trying to make my evillll party and I need her! i saved her from the flaming fist dude and all she says "thanks maybe our paths will meet again" can anyone help me?

Some characters wont join your party if you have a low charisma. Try getting Algernon´s cloak and equipping it on your more charismatic character, and use that character when you talk to her. Otherwise, you could just cheat your charisma to 18 to get her and then drop it back to whatever you had.

You seem to have done everything else right so low Charisma may well be the problem. I took Viconia in my evil party and playing evil does give you a strong team.

I wondered what party you are planning to use, there arn't too many evil archers, especially if, like me, you don't like Montaron.

There is one thing about Viconia that makes her different and that's the 50% magic resistance. Most of the time this is great but it is so annoying when she rejects your own spells, especially Cure Light Wounds'. Does anyone know if there is a pattern to this rejection because on some occations it's OK and on others I can't heal her no matter how many times I try ?

Wow, I have never heard of that happening with Viconia. That must be a bug.

MG, why don't you like Montaron? His soundset and stats are both pretty good. He seems perfect for an evil party.

Hi Lemernis. It's just me that's biased against Montaron. Normally the guys here at Midget Gems love to go adventuring with small people, but we love longbows rather than crossbows. When I played evil, it was as a Fighter/Thief - I was trying to be like Coran. By the time I reached Cloakwood, being evil was wearing a bit thin, so I recruited Coran and carried on role playing as 'just a bit naughty' instead. This was my strongest party ever and with the "Coran Twins" in the second rank we certainly kicked some butts. This hasn't got anything to do with Viconia but I though you might be interested anyway.

Nope, Viconia's magic resist ain't a bug. Look at her Biography: "You know that, as a drow, Viconia has a 50% resistance to all magics, both beneficial and harmful." Which, of course, makes it a real pain in the ass trying to heal her, especially since her weak-ass Constitution keeps her from having many hitpoints in the first place. Thank God she's great with a sling, because she's never going NEAR the front lines in MY Evil party.

(Which is me [Dwarven Fighter], Xzar, Montaron, Viconia, and Shar-Teel. No 6th person--I don't really like Kagain or Edwin. Midget Gems, Monty can be an archer too, you've just got to build him up. He's gotta put those 2 weapon stars in something--why not Bow? Then you can give any good Crossbow you've got to Shar-Teel.)
