I know it isn't possible to do this in the ordinary game, so you don't have to say that.

I thought of the cool possibilities if it would be possible to make a multiclass character that has class kits or a character dual classed to a class kit. I like the idea of soloing a multiclass Monk/Sorcerer, and I'd like to try a multiclass Kensai/Sorcerer/Assassin instead of the ordinary Fighter/Mage/Thief. For example, with the Kensai/Assasin, if the character had both of the classes' levels above level 21, he would deal +7 Damage and have a backstab multiplier of 7X. If you add the normal Damage of the character, which would be 10-25 to the bonus damage and then multiply it by 7.. then that would make a massive hit, let alone the damage of a critical backstab.

Is this possible?

Thanks.

I know that with shadowkeeper, you can assign one kit to a multiclass, for example, Kensai / Thief or Fighter / Assasin, but not both. I suspect that a character can only have one kit, no matter what (I might be wrong).

Kensai / Mage Rocks. So Does Swashbuckler / Mage.

Sorcerors and Monk are classes, not kits, and it isn't possible to create a new kind of multiclass in shadowkeeper. I've seen people create custom classes, and I imagine a sorceror/monk type char would be possible that way.

You could probably create a class with the abilities of double-kitted class, but it would have to be a new class.

It would probably be *possible*, but it would be too much work to be worthwhile, the way it would work would almost have to scream 'mod content', it would almost certainly get annoying-to-fix bugs, and it would get the modder forever branded as someone who promotes cheating...
So it's probably not going to happen anytime soon.

Heh, I guess you're right, LennonCook. Guess I'll have to think of some other -legitimate- fun class to solo with.

Thanks anyway.

Personally, I see nothing wrong with Shadowkeepering yourself a kit for the second half of a Dual-class, provided that:

A) You didn't choose a kit for your first class, so the character still only has 1 kit specialization. I've never seen any reason for allowing a kit for your 1st class, but not your 2nd. If Berserker->Mage is valid, why not Fighter->Enchanter?

B) The combination you choose isn't unrealistic. For example, the hypothetical Fighter->Swashbuckler. So you want to take your Full-Plate-wearing Fighter up to Level 21 to get the best base THAC0 possible, and then add Swashbuckler THAC0 and AC bonuses on top of that? Please--who needs it?

I don't think that shadowkeeper allows more than one kit, anyway. If the first class of your dual has a kit, you could change it, but not add another.

I suspect that the way character files are stored, only one kit is possible.

Of course, that doesn't stop you from adding the innate abilities of as many kits as you want. Hmmmm...Kensai+Swashbuckler+Assasin+Monk+Barbarian ...that's just wrong.

Personally, I am fond of Kensai/Mage multiclass. I WISH I could have a Kensai/Sorceror multiclass Ah, well
