Sime

Ok, so im playing 'the big picture' with no other mods installed but the ones required for that.

Ive been adventuring with yoshi kachi valyg minsc and jaheira for a while, and so i finally found sime when i started the main quest again.

So i dropped jaheira for sime and then did the few little quests that lead to the crpyt raid. Now heres where things get annoying: during the crypt raid sime wont attack anything, refuses to move more than 2 steps when i click her to move etc etc...ive read on the tortured souls bugs forum and they recommended loading to a previously saved game.
Now problem is i dont have one....so how do i 'reset' variables so that she isnt bugged?

How do you not have a previously saved game? The game auto-saves whenever you leave a party requiered area, so you've got to have 1.

Well,
i was exploring the crypt as i said..so i defeated the upper portion which is where the bug happened, then went down to the lower and the autosave now has the bugged sime.
as does my quick save; the only save that doesnt have her bugged is one from practically the beginning of the game.

thats a bummer...dont know about the variables, but you could try a little hacking. Take all of sime's equipment off and boot her out/kill her/imprison her/etc. and then Clua back the original Sime. Use Shadow Keeper to give back the exp she had. Dont know if it'll work, but its worth a shot, methinks...

tried all of the simes listed under shadowkeepers creature file - none worked; most wouldnt even speak to me, the ones who did were from farther into the relationship than i am.
guess ill have to restart

No need to restart. Just use control-Y on Sime to kill her, then complete the crypt, then when you are going to exit, use control-r on her to ressurect her. See if it works
