Last night i rolled a new character, a human fighter. The stats i rolled were then re-distributed to the following; Strength 1
 51), Dex. 17, Const. 17, Int. 10, Wis. 17, Cha 10. I had almost completed the dungeon when i realised wisdom allows you to dual to a cleric not a mage! I wouldn't mind dualing into a cleric but my grand mastery in the bastard sword would be useless when my fighter stats re-appear as blades are not part of the cleric's ethos. Do i have to start again?

Well I suppose you could change your stats with shadowkeeper...
But apart from that I don't really see any way you could fix this problem. You probably will have to start again I'm afraid...

change wis to 10 and int to 17 with shadowkeeper, a minor oversight on your part is all this was

But if you dual to mage, wont you be unable to wield a bastard sword anyways?

First of all, you WILL be able to use the B-sword when you get your fighter levels back. Second, here is a link to SK. Its not even too big of a download, so even if youre running a modem, it shouldnt take too long.
