Im encountering the final battle with Bodhi, and i have gotten the aid of shadow thieves and drizzet (i may go back and get some help from the paladins but im not sure yet). Now, I think i am prepared to face her, the only thing is, when i come into the graveyard, she turns aerie into a neutral character after a conversation, then kills here. She cannot be brought back because I cannot see her portrait, nor her body on the ground. I am currently romancing her, which changed so of the dialogue with Bodhi. Anyone got any suggestions how I can stop her killing Aerie?

AS a cleric, Viconia will suffice as a replacement for Aerie. But there is no replacement for aerie as a Mage/Cleric. She is pretty much the ultimate spellcaster.

But don't worry, it dosen't take that long to get Aerie back. Not worth the hassel of going to get a replacement. Just go with it.

Don't overlook Viconia. If she's a high-level cleric, she can do the evil version of Turn Undead--instead of exploding those vampires, she'll be turning them into green-circle allies. Your own private level-draining army!

(PS: Also make sure that your allies stay away from Bodhi. If one of your thief or Drizzt allies lands the killing blow, you won't get experience for it.)

I'm using AOL 5.0 on a 56K dialup. If that ain't hell, I don't know what is. (I could have sworn I saw "Summon Fiend" in the connection steps...)

Oh, give me a LAN
and a halogen tan
and an old-fashioned CRPG
I'll make soundsets for Kim
and I'll beta test for Sim
with a Delryn-loving thieving PC

Bal-al-dur's Gate
where I'm saving my soul and my fate
with the snow-covered grass
and only one short term class
I'll spend January with just my PC...

(to the tune of "Home on the Range")

*skips term paper work and heads over to the BG1 forum*

Is there any such rule for turning/destroying dead i.e levels? I have a level 16 paldin as my chararcter and aerie who can (or could lol) destroy them. But whenever I tried it earlier in the game, it was to no avail. Is it only effective afetr a certain level and doesit affect vampires?

Also, the cleric spell "summon dead" states that at level 15 the spellcatser wil summon forth a skeleton warrior a "very powerful ally indead". But it dont work! Still only one two or three skeletons appear what is happenening!?

Your chance to scare/explode/charm Undead depends on your Turn Undead level. Certain Undead will require minimum levels before any effect is noticeable.

If you are using your Paladin to cast Animate Dead, he needs to be level 23 to get Skeleton Warriors as he has a -8 penalty to casting level.

For Aerie... if you are using her Mage spell slots, her Mage class must be level 15. If you are using her Cleric spell slots, her Cleric class must be level 15.

Wow.... That thing about Palains really does suck. As for the level thing, does the level have to equal to the enenies or slightly more? (THE TURNING UNDEAD ABILITY)
