Saemon Appears busy..

Ok, I stole that horn thing from Cayia she called the gaurds and i killed them, so I have the horn now, anyone know what i did wrong, when i head over to saemon with the horn it says he appears busy and he won't talk? Anyone know what I should do?

It's a bug that's fixed with the official patch.

The patch (as well as the Baldurdash fixpack) come highly recommended, as they address lots of other annoying issues as well. They (especially the fixpack) also remove a few useful bugs and cheats, but on balance: highly recommended.

I think it is windows XP related, but im not sure, thats just what ive heard. I commonly encounter this, and since im a lazy ass, I dont get the patch. I deal with it by quick saving the game, then reloading it; you will find that you can now talk to the chararcter. If this fails once, repeat.

Please note that this is only a short term solution, and overall a patch is better in the long run.

What I found usually works is when somebody appears busy, just leave the area and come back in, or try and sleep and then talk to them. One of the two always works for me.
