my female elven assassin was looking pretty cool single-wielding her shortsword - it was a magical one and glowed red - it suited her

she's got a katana now - its too long and it looks silly - its a magical one too and it glows and even makes other people glow but its just not right - i'm going to sell it

what are your favourite weapon 'looks'?

I like 2-handed swords but my Fav look is probably my Warhammer+2+1electrical from bg1. It kicks ass!

I have a problem with elves and katanas too, in fact alot of the avatar and paper doll looks in bg2 don't sit very well with me. I much prefered the way things looked in bg1, though my male elven assasain looks pretty good wielding a longsword and a shortsword.

Got to admit, dualwielding long and short swords looks GOOOD. Also, dualwielding any blade weapons aside from daggers on a female elven character wearing elven chainmail looks very very awesome as well...

I like the look of scimitars on the elves and humans...it looks pathetic in the inventory screen, though

I agree that Katanas look too long on some paperdolls.
Longswords dual looks FIINE and for human avatars glowing staffs ROCK.
I think that the daggers come along a bit stupid however.

i actually like the look of katanas and daggers on a mage female human...or fighter female elven....long swords and short swords or long swords and daggers look great...

but my favorite has to be gnome male mage with two handed swords...it just looks so funny!!!
