ok
I know he is programed to say certain things at certain times but once u carry it over to ToB (it is not quite as powerful as some of the other weapons...) I have not really spoken to it for a while... Can anyone justify actually keeping it? and not seeling it for gold? I mean does it have anymore funny or new witty lines?

I think not. Even in Shadows of Amn there are some better swords; in ToB fighting with Lilarcor is kind of useless when you can fight with a +5 Psionic Blade

In light of this, I'm making the 'Hackmaster' +12 which would make for some intresting fights...watch this space...

Well if you have the Item Upgrade Mod you can upgrade it to +5 and you are immune to INT drain while you are wielding it.

Now that is just lame
![]() BGT gives you the "Helm of Sarevok" which makes you immune to INT drain. It was the new "Helm of Munchkin" for me as combined with Lilarcor (charm immunities) and the ring of free action it enabled Minsc to clear out Illithid city alone without taking more damage than the ring of regeneration would heal during the fight. So while I find immunity to INT drain itself overpowered as it take s the Flayer out of mind Flayer "Would you Mind if I ravage your city? HAHA", putting INT-drain immunity on Lilarcor (the obvious choice against MFs before aquiring the Psionic Blade) is just hyper-powergame-munchkin. All you need in addition is a ring of free action and even if you don't have that the Flayers will only do 2-3dmg/round which a tank can easily take for the duration of a stun or hold person.

Well, one must also take Weimer's "Improved" Mind Flayers into account....the ones that Project Force you back through locked doors, are Invisible half the time, have a THAC0 that can easily penetrate -17 AC, cast spells like Detonate, Disintegrate, and a fatal version of Emotion whenever they want to (and with 0 casting time, no less!), and are worth 0 EXP (because they Dimension Door away before you can actually kill them). Go ahead and wear the Helm of Sarevok for them, for all the good it'll do you.
Going back to Lilarcor, it does tend to lose its luster as you progress further in the game, but that's quite all right, since it's pretty much the very first +3 weapon you can get in the whole game. Mid- and late-game, Warriors will have moved on to things like Carsomyr, Soul Reaver, and the Silver Sword, but Bards might still want to hang on to Lilarcor, as their Saving Throws will never be good enough to ignore all those Charm and Chaos spells.
