I don't know why everyone is so excited about a supposedly new Baldur's Gate, as I am pretty positive that Bioware/Black Isle announced that there wouldn't be a Baldur's Gate 3 of any kind. Of course we want them to make a new one, but I don't think that the Infinity Engine would suffice for most BG-fans.. and the Aurora-engine of NWN isn't that shabby either..

That add for BGII has been up there for ages. Don't count on BGIII.

![]() Basically I can handle the old isometric view if the game is great. Now, if there was a single-player Aurora game with a 6-person party like in BG2... ![]() Nah I think there will be no more games like the BG series ever again |

We only recently got NWN and although its nice to look at, and will probably be a joy to play, I kinda missed the fixed point view you get with BG2, and my mind kept thinking that I should be playing some kinda shoot-em-up with a 3d view like that... It does look nice though, and I'm sure I will get into it, I just don't like change until I get bored with the old ways I guess
