I'm a bit new to this specific forum and no doubt, you'll be seeing me more here Anyway, I just was wondering if anyone could explain to me what a Solar and Planatar(sp?) are. If someone could provide a link to a previous post about this topic that would help.

sry if I'm repeating a past topic!

Easiest way to explain it is that Planetars & Solars are "good demons", meaning they are what Good Gods call upon where an Evil God might call upon a Baalor or a Marileth (or Behlifet might call upon Cornugons if you have IWD:HoW).

In game terms, Planetars are very high level summons with massive melee & spell-casting (both Mage & Cleric) power. Devas (& their Evil counter-part, Fallen Devas) are like lesser-Planetars, btw. You can't summon Solars to help you in the game, though - they are almost on par with demi-gods.

BTW, welcome to this forum - I believe I recognize you from the IWDI forums...
