I am currently doing the thieving quests to kill maevar, but before I gave him his necklace thing, I slept (right outside of the little barracks for the soldiers ) and tried setting up traps from Jan (which didn't work) but anyways I had Aerie (keeping her till edwin) use some protects and Jaheira used the insect plague, well besides their protections going up and some of them being stunned (Jan's special bolts ) It turned out during the confusion, on of the Cowled's killed each other. I would have gotten a pic of it, but I don't really know how, but you'd think for those who regulate magic, they wouldn't kill each other off, also due to a lightning bolt of theirs, they killed a beggar, doing about 30 damage to it, it almost makes me feel sorry for the poor man... oh well.

So how do you get pictures from the game?

Um, so what exactly were you doing here? Fighting Mae'var or the Cowlies?

If you want to snap a screenshot during the game, press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. It's up there near F12. The pictures will save as bitmaps in your ScrnShot folder in your BG2 directory.

The Cowled Wizards kill each other off every single time I encounter them. They target themselves with area of effect spells (like Fireball, Skull Trap) and hence destroy themselves and also fellow Cowled ones.

Yep, it´s amazing that they can cast spells with an intelligence as low as that.

I was on my way to maevar, slept, got attacked by bandits, accidently had my sorceror do the meteor spell, went of of range first, killed the bandits then turned on to the cowleds.

Not sh*t, shite

I'd watch it though Lilarcor, those Cowled are a major pain sometimes. Make sure you go buy the magic license in the Goverment District.

Nah! Never bought the license, never will! It's much more fun to slaughter them (I mean; even a good aligned character would be frustrated if he could not use his kick-ass spells!!)
Minor Spoiler:

You get a crapload of XP for killing them (especially when they attack you for the final time), and it saves a whole lot of money (not that money's the problem, but hey: it's the issue that counts )

Nasty cough you got there, Gangrell You really need to let someone take a look at that. Reputation you were saying? I can't remember loosing any rep. points because I slaughtered a bunch of Cowled Wizards. Come to think of it: I was:

1) Murdering them at night
2) Murdering them in the Docks District, at the Docks where no one is around
3) Murdering them fast

Maybe I was so quick, nobody noticed

P.S. Need a place to sleep without guards bothering you? Try the City Gates. I slept there under the noses of a couple of guards, and they didn't come along and say: "Hey you, I'll have no vagrants sleeping on the streets. Find an inn or leave the city." Good riddance! City Gates just rules!
