Well, almost to the end of Chapter 7 and ready to move on to ToB. It's my understanding that I no longer will have access to anything from SoA except Watchers Keep. If so, will I be able to transfer some of my goodies to the keep for safe "keeping" ( I know its a poor pun ). I really don't wish to waste time if I can't do it. The bag of holding can only hold so much. Thanks for any help.

You can't return to SoA areas. You can only go to Watchers keep because it is part of the ToB expansion...
I do not have ToB, but this is what I have heard about this subject so... I could be wrong. [ 02-24-2003, 05:13 PM: Message edited by: Annatar ]

once you beat Irenicus you're going to tob and you can't come back, just like your in soa you can't go to tob areas save the watchers keep, I imagine if you play through as much of soa as you can and then beat the watchers keep irenicus should be no problem

I'm about to advocate cheating here:
If you've got the Cheats enabled, just press X (or was it L?) to get the area number of your current location in ToB. REMEMBER IT. CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("AR0300") will take you to the Docks District, in fact right to the doorway of Renal's Guildhouse. Since Renal's is my very favorite place to stash all my excess gear, I be home. When you've got what you want, just CLUA yourself right back. Just like the Pocket Plane, but with nicer decor. Note: When in ToB, you will be unable to travel between SoA map areas normally--CLUA is the only way. Docks (0300) and Waukeen's Promenade (0700) are the only ones I bother to remember.

Items stored in Watcher's Keep, stay in Watcher's Keep. Even when you transit from SoA to ToB.

I've heard that CLUAing between areas willtake you to different chapters.
PS, SixofSpades, how often do you do this? Do you just act as if those areas were normally accessible?

From what I can figure out, you can only screw up the chapter order by performing actions that move you to the next chapter. For instance, if you were in Chapter 3, you could CLUA yourself into Suldenesselar, but that wouldn't really screw you up UNLESS you went into the Temple & killed Irenicus, which would skip Chapters 4, 5, 6, and most of 7. Simply changing map areas should have no effect, I deem.
I've hacked myself back to Waukeen's Promenade in the first game I played with Weimer's Item Upgrade MOD: Cespenar needs a scroll of Protection from Magic for one of the upgrades, and there's not a single one to be found in all of ToB. So, back to the Adventurer's Mart to buy one, since I didn't care to memorize the Readme to know that I'd need to buy one ahead of time.

If you import the SoA to ToB, you will not gain any additional equipment (well, except the Seldarine Amulet). Nor will you have to summon those party members that were with you when you finished the SoA part.
Plus, it is better to have Watcher's Keep in ToB, because NPCs will not banter about it if you are in SoA.
