i love kensai's, and any of the paladins or for magic a sorceror. those are proably my favorites and i've played at least one kit from each of the main classes(a cleric, a thief, sorc, cavalier, kensai, a few others)

Yes, go with the Kensai or the Monk classes, both of which are excellent. They aren't the most powerful of characters in the early going, but once you've gotten them in the higher levels such as 15 and beyond, things will become easier and funner.
Monk- His fists can become from +1 to +4 weapons, can gain enormous resistances against spells and magic. Has a special ability that can kill an enemy if they fail their save vs. death instantly. This does work, I've killed a dragon with one hit with this attack (called Stunning Blow by the way). And at 20th level, you become immune to non-magical weapons. Kensai- Can't wear any armor, which may hurt you early on, but in higher levels his + to hit and damage keeps adding up a lot higher, plus he also gets armor class and weapon speed factor bonuses. This may sound long winded, but go for it! ![]() |

Me a big monk fan as well! You have to think a little bit laterally at the beginning to stop getting your ass kicked, which makes a nice change from wading in and hitting every enemy with a big stick.
I'm pretty sure that there's a stunning blow as well as a quivering palm (accessed via special abilities icon): It just does less damage and you don't get the insta-kill option you do with QP (whuich you only gain at level 13 or so). LOL: Just read gangrell's post properly (Memo to self: READ before jumping in!) [ 02-19-2003, 02:49 PM: Message edited by: Jatelka ] |

Link in my sig
Chapter 4 Each class has links to descriptions of its various classes Errata: My site says that Wizard Slayers get 2% Magic Resistance per level. They don't, it's actually only 1%, and after you hit Level 20 it's 5% per 2 levels. My site also fails to state that Beast Masters cannot wear metal armor.
