maybe I'm just stupid, BUT...

k, I'm having a bit of a dilemma here. A few problems popped up in my recent game and I'm not sure what to think about them since I've never attempted some of the things leading to these problems before. Allow me to try to explain.

1) Dual classing: I thought, from what I read on this forum, that if I were to dual class from wizard slayer to thief, I could acquire something called 'use any item' that would override my wizard slayer CAN NOT USE MAGICAL ITEM restriction. Well, I've passed my Wizard slayer level with my thief level and have gained all my skills back. But I still can't figure out how to get the 'use any item' skill that I hear so much about. Maybe I misunderstood, maybe my game is bugged since I never get an option to choose what skills I get when I level up... I dunno, but will someone please explain how that works? Don't worry about talking to me like I'm a moron, cause basically I am.

2) Again, maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't get items' special abilities to work. For example; Daystar, no matter how I click on it, look at it, rub it, chop trees with it, ask it nicely, or even threaten it, will not use the sunray ability. I'm probably just doing something wrong, or not doing it at all, but any advice is welcome.

These MAY be a result of the same problem I'm having since installing Kelsey's Mod, which is kinda hard to explain. But again, since I've never tried to do either of these things before, I'm probably just doing them wrong. Help, please?

1.)You get Use Any Item ability if you have ToB on 24l level.

2.)Well i dont know about this but you can click on the backpack icon and it sholud work.

3.)Try to download Baldurash fix pack

1) sounds like you don't have tob, it's a High level ability for the thief class you need to be something like level 24 to get it.

2) when you have it equiped click on just that character, there should be a picture of a bag on the bottom of the page. click it and it should give you options by what equipment your wearing, sunray should be in there

ok yeah... I missed the fact that Use Any Item is only in TOB... and now that you mention it, I was kinda wondering what that lil backpack icon was for. I'll go and enjoy the newfound wonders that I would have probably known any if I'd... have, ummm, read the manual? hehe Thanks peoples
