Theres all those other stupid caracters and then theres hear'dals. hes the best in the game when he wields double blades and can still cast spells wearing his elvish aromour. he is the best in the game whos with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haerdelis can cast magic with elven armor... and so the mages? elven armor are built to let you cast magic while wearing it. haerdelis is not that "capable" for battles(specially as a tank)and has poor selection of spells. i better trade jaheira in his place.

Haer'Dalis is a quite useful character if used correctly, which can be said for pretty much all of the NPCs. Most of the time, he's not much use except as a backup Mage: His CON isn't anything to write home about, and what I feel is the main drawback of Bards is that their THAC0 isn't any better than that of a Thief. But, once you know all the tricks you can do, you're in for a wild ride: Want a Tank that can stop a Dragon dead in its tracks, even to the point of being immune to Wing Buffet? Haer'Dalis is your Tiefling.

Haer'Dalis is an OK character in my humble opinion. Mosi people dont like his dialogue but it seems kinda odd to me so therefore i kind of like it!!!
Talking about hear'dalis gave me a urge to play a bard character...
